New to patchwork? This is the perfect place to start. We will be holding a series of patchwork workshops that aim to introduce you to a series of different patchwork techniques. 
During this session we will create an everlasting piece of art whilst learning the basics of paper piecing hexies. Use some of the fabrics supplied or use some of your important/ memorable keepsakes to make a fabric sampler to take away and frame

Time: 10.00am - 4pm
This session combines two techniques of patchwork; making hexies and hand embroidery to create a memory “artwork” which will be a stand out piece of personalised art once framed. Whilst being shown a variety of different techniques, you can use fabric from items you have loved or some from our supplies, to make small individual hexies which will then be handembellished before being stitched down to a backing cloth. Why not record in embroidery key moments and dates, birth flowers or even little stitched pets and cherish them forever.

We will have a selection of fabrics you may choose to use.
We  will provide refreshments to enjoy throughout the workshop, if you have an allergies we should be aware of, please let us know when booking your place.
 
What you will need to bring: 
You will need to provide your own fabric for this workshop, this can be sentimental or keepsake fabrics you wish to work with.
